Ewa Lechman (born 24 Maret 1977, Katowice) – economist, professor of social sciences, lecturer at the Gdańsk University of Technology (PG). Graduate of the University of Gdańsk (2001), specialization: economic policy and entrepreneurship strategy. She has been working at PG since 2002. She defended her doctorate in 2007, habilitation in 2015, the title of professor in 2023.
She has held the following positions: vice-dean for development (2017–2020), director of doctoral studies, chairwoman of various committees (including recruitment, teacher evaluation, doctoral students), expert of NAWA, KEJN, Fulbright, member of the Committee on Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (since 2023).
She specializes in research on the diffusion of digital technologies (ICT), development economics and transformations of financial markets. Winner of numerous scientific awards (including Elsevier, Emerald), manager and participant of NCN, NBP, UN, EU projects.
Involved in accreditation processes (EMOS, CEEMAN, AACSB), member of the Gdańsk Business Club and Fahrenheit University Women's Clubs.
